But most people visiting Ladakh instantly fall in love with this part of the world. So did Dieter Glogowski and Franz Binder. In 15 fictional letters from “Little Tibet” Franz Binder tells – from the traveller’s point of view – about the life of the people there, about their sorrows and their happiness, about their fears and adventures. So the culture there and the daily experiences really are brought to life. Dieter Glogowski tries to paint a realistic picture through his photographs. A picture of the tremenduos beauty of this amazing mountain wasteland but also one of archaic tradition, endurance and staying power of the Ladakhi. He also showcases for the first time his unique photographs of the Dalai Lama’s visit to Ladakh.
